Can the earbuds provide continuous, real-time translation (like simultaneous interpretation)?
The earbuds provide real-time translation for two-person natural conversations. And, it provides a Simultaneous Interpretation Mode for meetings or speeches.
However, it does not fully support continuous “simultaneous interpreting” for long, uninterrupted speech (such as movies or lectures). For best accuracy, it translates after each sentence or short phrase.
Are these earbuds suitable for meetings or conversations?
Yes! The S66 Pro is ideal for two-person communication or meetings. In Free Talk Mode, each person wears one earbud, enabling both parties to hear real-time translated speech during the conversation.
Can I use the earbuds for translation while watching movies or videos?
No, the earbuds cannot provide translation while watching movies or videos, because they are designed to recognize live speech from people, not pre-recorded audio from media.
Why does the box say “Padmate S66” instead of “S66 Pro”? Did I receive the wrong model?
No, you did not receive the wrong product.
The unit you received is technically the Padmate S66 Pro (AI Translator) version.
Although the outer box and model marking may display “Padmate S66”, this is due to unified packaging used for both models. The hardware and firmware inside your earbuds are the S66 Pro translator version, exactly as advertised on the product page.
All Pro / AI translation features are fully included, with no functional limitations compared to what was described at the time of purchase.
Do the AI translation features require a subscription or extra payment?
No. There is NO paid subscription required.
All AI translation features are free to use for life.
